The Miracle League of New York City is privileged to have leaders from the words of nonprofits, business, media, government, law –and of course, baseball.
Ryan Feder is the MLNYC’s Founder and Director of Youth Programs. He has been a Miracle League of Westchester volunteer buddy since 2021 and is a lifelong baseball fan.
Beth Essig is a member of the MLNYC Board and is Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Mount Sinai Health System. She is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of nonprofit governance and health care.
Joshua Prager is a member of MLNYC’s board and is former senior writer for The Wall Street Journal, who is known for writing about historical secrets—including his work revealing that the New York Giants stole signs en route to the 1951 pennant. His most recent book, The Family Roe, was a finalist for the 2022 Pulitzer Prize. Joshua has spoken at venues including Google and TED about the bus accident that broke his neck.
John Zeigler is a member of the MLNYC Board and is an Emmy-Award winning chief marketing officer at Sinclair Broadcast Group and former vice president of the New York Yankees’ YES Network. Before he began working in media, Zeigler served in the United States Army and Army National Guard, where he was a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare Specialist, and was awarded both the Army Achievement Medal and the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service.
Abbe R. Gluck is MLNYC’s General Counsel. She is a Professor of Law and Medicine at Yale Law School, and has held senior government legal positions in the NYC Mayor’s Office as well as the in White House. She is a nationally recognized expert on health care law, including disability.
